Alfa Romeo Racing (ex Sauber) was the last team to unveil its 2019 World Championship car, the C38, a few minutes after the start of this week’s pre-season training in Barcelona.
Manufactured by Sauber in Hinwill, Switzerland, the car remains true to its colors from last year, white and red with touches of black on the sides and blue on the front.
In accordance with the new regulation that imposes on teams to simplify the aerodynamics of the single-seaters, mainly at the level of the ailerons, the C38 stands out for one curved at the ends, different from those seen in the other teams.
Alfa Romeo Racing will have a new pair of drivers for this season: the Italian Antonio Giovinazzi, who contested two races with Sauber in 2017 (Australia and China), and the Finnish veteran Kimi Räikkönen, who comes from Ferrari. afp
