Alonso: “Very happy to go to Bahrain after the accident in Australia”

The Spanish driver Fernando Alonso (McLaren), two-time Formula One world champion, has assured that he is “very happy to go to Bahrain after the accident in Australia.”
“I’ve been resting and I really want to get behind the wheel of the car again,” he said in statements distributed by his team in the run-up to the second round of the World Cup in Bahrain.
The Asturian driver, after the spectacular accident, explained that although the result indicates that Melbourne “was not a great race” for him, before the incident he had “some good battles on the track and the sensations in the car were quite promising”. so he hoped that “in Bahrain it will be the same again.”
“I really like racing in Bahrain, it was a good circuit for me; I have won three times there and he has a good number of opportunities to overtake, “he said.
