Andy Murray and Serena Williams fall in Wimbledon mixed doubles

Former world number 1s Andy Murray and Serena Williams ended their way in the mixed doubles draw at the Wimbledon tournament, where they made up the most media and attractive duo in the competition.

In a third round match (round of 16), Murray and Serena Williams lost 6-3, 4-6 and 6-2 to American Nicole Melichar and Brazilian Bruno Soares.

The game was played on Court 2 of the All England Club, with a capacity of 4,000 people, rather than on Center Court or Court 1, where they are used to playing both.

Serena Williams is classified for the semifinals in the individual draw, where she will face the Czech Barbora Strycova.
