Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo will return to the Catalan capital and entrust himself to the club’s medical services to recover from the injury he suffered against Argentina while defending the Uruguayan colors.
The Barça entity reported that the tests carried out by the Uruguayan Football Association have detected an injury in the hamstrings of the right leg from which Araujo will recover in Barcelona.
In the absence of official confirmation on the extent of the injury, the Uruguayan center-back is practically ruled out for next Sunday’s LaLiga Santander game against Valencia and the following Wednesday’s Champions League game against Dinamo Kiev.
Meanwhile, the Barça squad, even without their internationals, continues to prepare to return to competition at the Joan Gamper Sports City, again with strikers Ousmane Dembélé and Sergio Agüero doing part of the work with the group.
The next training will be this Wednesday, at 11:00 am at the Sant Joan Despí facilities. EFE (HN)
