Austrian Rodionov and American Kudla at the end of the ATP tournament in Dallas

The Austrian Jurij Rodionov and the American Denis Kudla, fifth seed, did well on Saturday in their respective semifinal matches of the ATP tennis tournament in Dallas, which is played indoors.

Kudla closed the day with a victory with a double 6-4 against the Ecuadorian Emilio Gómez, 10th seed.

Previously, the Austrian Rodionov had killed the German Dominik Koepfer to also get his ticket to the final.

Rodionov surprised the German, third seed, by beating him in one hour and 42 minutes with scores of 7-6 (9/7), 6-2.

In the final this Sunday, Rodionov will face Kudla for the crown of the Dallas indoor tournament.
