Barcelona receives 500 million euros to refinance debt

FC Barcelona has obtained a loan of 500 million euros from the US investment fund to refinance its debt, as reported this Wednesday by the newspaper ‘L’Esportiu’.

The information cites sources from the Barça entity that specify that the conditions of this credit are “much better than those that any bank could offer.”

According to the latest economic report, Barça has a gross debt of 1,173 million euros, 730 of them short-term. The club owes, among others, 265 million to the banks and another 160 million to the sports personnel.
