A few days after traveling to Colombia to contest the Central American and Caribbean belt against the local Jelier Pacheco, the president of the Honduran Boxing Federation (Fedebox), Godofredo Fajardo, reported that they already have the air tickets to travel the next 8 to Barranquilla .
“I want to publicly thank the mayor of Tegucigalpa, Nasri” Tito “Asfura, the Natural Kingdom and the Sports Confederation of Honduras (Condepah), because they donated the three air tickets to Colombia,” said Fajardo.
In addition to the tickets, they were given cash for lodging and food expenses, for the days of stay in the South American country.
Likewise, the head of the Fehdebox expressed that the preparation of the catracho boxer Josec “Escorpión” Ruiz has concluded, since they worked on the tactical technical part for two months.
“Enough time to give him the best preparation for the confrontation on October 11 in Barranquilla, Colombia, where he will face Jeiler Pacheco for the dispute for the Centromerican and Caribbean belt at 10 rounds, endorsed by the World Boxing Council (WBC) ”.
He also stated that the evaluations and adjustments of the fighter’s preparation were developed in Nicaragua, to guarantee that the high level required in an international competition is achieved.
“Now, all that remains is to work on getting ‘Scorpion’ to stop the scale at 126 pounds and that is why he must lose weight at a rate of 3 pounds a day.”
