The Spanish Brahim Díaz, a midfielder on loan to Milan from Real Madrid, recovered from the coronavirus and returned to the disposal of coach Stefano Pioli, the Milanese team reported in an official statement.
“AC Milan communicates that Brahim Díaz has tested negative for Covid-19,” reads the brief statement from the “rossonero” team, co-leader of the Italian Serie A with Napoli and rival of Atlético Madrid in the group stage of the Champions League .
The Andalusian player, who scored four goals and gave two assists this season, among all competitions, had tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, October 15, and missed three Milan games.
His team beat Verona 3-2 and Bologna 4-2 in Serie A, but fell 0-1 to Porto in the Champions League.
Brahim will be available for the league match this Tuesday against Torino, although it is excluded that he starts. EFE (HN)
