Braves sign Cubs’ Joc Pederson

Outfielder Joc Pederson traded to the Atlanta Braves from the Chicago Cubs in MLB 2021.

Suddenly in the middle of the all-star game hiatus, the Atlanta Braves notified that they have acquired veteran Joc Pederson who will take over the team’s right field for the rest of the season due to the injury of Ronald Acuna Jr.

Acuna Jr.’s injury gave strongly to the Atlanta Braves who are looking to dethrone a New York Mets who have been up all along, which is why they acquired a left-hander with playoff experience and 2020 World Series champion.

29-year-old Joc Pederson at 6’1 and 220 free could be the Braves’ leadoff hitter, this season he’s hitting 230. with 11 homers, 39 RBIs, 50 hits, 25 runs scored, 11 doubles and triples.

The Atlanta Braves traded prospect Bryce Ball to the Chicago Cubs in exchange for the services of Joc Pederson.

Bryce Ball is a prospect hitting 207. with 6 homers and 36 RBIs in the Minors in 2021, yet the Chicago Cubs seem to see something special in him in MLB.

There is no doubt that the Chicago Cubs are fulfilling what they said days ago, and that is to change their star players and say goodbye to competitiveness this MLB season. (Fielding)
