“Canelo” will have a “very complicated” fight against Khan, says Sulaimán

The president of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Mauricio Sulaimán, considered today that the Mexican Saúl «Canelo» Álvarez will face an extremely difficult fight against the British Amir Khan on May 7 in Las Vegas (USA).
«Without a doubt it is a very complicated fight. Who has complicated ‘Canelo’? Mayweather, Trout and Lara, fighters who move, fast and Khan has those characteristics, “said Sulaiman in this capital.
Álvarez will have to successfully solve this fight against Khan and then think about the fight against Kazakh Gennady Golovkin.
“It is a lawsuit with a lot of risk for Álvarez,” added the leader, who pointed out that it will not be an easy fight for the Mexican and gave the British some hope by saying that “the coin is in the air.”
Of the Briton, Sulaimán highlighted his quick hands, power, hunger for victory and his determination to win.
«You have to pay close attention and then to what follows; ‘Canelo’ first has to beat Khan, “he remarked.
Regarding the fight with Golovkin, the president of the WBC considered that he is very attractive and everyone of boxing wants to see him.
“It is a fight that brings together all the elements of a great event but first you have to face Khan before thinking of anything else,” he said.
Sulaiman commented that the “natural” fight is against Golovkin but if Khan beats “Canelo” he will be the one who faces Golovkin. EFE
