Boxer Teofimo López, who is part of the 132-pound National Golden Gloves, will arrive in Honduras next week to join national boxing and seek qualification for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
The boxer has been trained in the great northern nation and is brought in by the Honduran Olympic Committee as part of the boxing contingent for the qualifiers for this year’s Olympics.
Honduras expects to directly classify some athletes among the sports of boxing, wrestling and taekwondo.
