American Jermell Charlo and Argentine Brian Castaño tied their boxing match at super welterweight this Saturday in San Antonio (Texas) and kept their respective titles intact.
Charlo (34-1-1 and 18 KOs), who was in his eighth defense, put the WBC, IBF and WBA belts at stake, while the South American (17-0-2 and 12 KOs) offered the title of the WBO category.
The judges’ vote was 114-113 for Castaño, 117-111 for Charlo and the third tied at 114. (AFP)
