Pitcher Clayton Kershaw will return to the Los Angeles Dodgers team in mid-September this MLB season.
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he won’t have Kershaw for at least not until September.
It had previously been said that Clayton Kershaw could return in August, however Dave Roberts changed their minds.
This season, the 3-time Cy Young has only been able to pitch 106 innings with 127 strikeouts, where he is 9-7 with a 3.39 ERA.
Kershaw’s presence in the Dodgers is being relieved by Max Scherzer, who made the team and is also considered one of the best pitchers in the major leagues. Scherzer had a few words of respect about playing alongside the southpaw: “What he has done in his career is extraordinary. This is the life in, you can compete for years and suddenly you are a teammate. Now we have a new goal together ”. (Fielding)
