Cristiano breaks his drought

Cristiano Ronaldo broke his four-game league drought without scoring, the worst in more than three years, with his goal against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Portuguese striker had not been so long without scoring since his last season at Real Madrid, in 2017-2018, when he was from matchday 9 to 13 without seeing a goal.

With Juventus he had never been so many league games without scoring and to go back to the last time he had been dry five or more games of the regular championship you have to go back to his last campaign at Manchester United in 2008-2009.

In his last year with the ‘Red Devils’ before making the leap to Real Madrid, the Portuguese was without scoring a single goal from date 14 to 22.
