Crystal Palace punishes Manchester City

Manchester City suffered a blow to their black beast in the Premier League, Crystal Palace, when they lost in a match in which they played with ten the entire second half due to the expulsion of Aymeric Laporte (0-2).

Everything went wrong with Pep Guardiola on Saturday afternoon. They started losing, Laporte was sent off just before the break for knocking down Zaha when he was the last defender and, despite the fact that they tied with ten players, the VAR annulled Gabriel Jesús’s goal for offside.

The Palace knows well what it is to embitter the City and that is that in December 2017 it broke the streak of 18 consecutive games won that it had then. In addition, in 2018 this same scenario defeated them.

To continue improving their record against the reigning champions, Palace took the three points from the Etihad with an initial goal from Zaha and sentencing in the last minutes through Conor Gallagher, a player on loan from Chelsea who is being one of the sensations of Patrick’s Scallop

The Sky Blues remain third, with 20 points, five behind the leader, Chelsea, who did not fail. The Palace breathes with this victory and is placed thirteenth with twelve units. EFE. (HN)
