Djokovic equals his record of triumphs in China

Novak Djokovic matched the second-longest winning streak in a single ATP Tour event by defeating local Zhang Ze 6-2, 6-1 for his 26th straight win at the China Open.
Djokovic caught up with Jimmy Connors and now he only has Rafael Nadal ahead of him, who went 31-0 at the French Open between 2005 and 2009.
The Serb has won the Beijing tournament in five of its last six editions. He did not participate in the 2011.
Djokovic says that the conditions in Beijing are very much suited to his game.
“I feel very comfortable on center court,” he said. “I’m doing well and that obviously gives me confidence.”
