World number one and reigning champion Novak Djokovic reached the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the 11th time in his career after defeating Frenchman Ugo Humbert 6-3, 6-2, 6-3.
The 32-year-old Serbian and four-time English Grand Slam champion on grass will face Belgian David Goffin in the quarterfinals, who eliminated Spanish tennis player Fernando Verdasco in the round of 16.
Djokovic has won five of his six meetings against 21st-seeded Goffin, who will play the Wimbledon quarter-finals for the first time. AFP
