Serbian Novak Djokovic will leave the world ‘Top 10’ on Monday for the first time in ten years, after the classification of Argentine Juan Martín Del Potro for the quarterfinals of the Masters 1000 in Paris-Bercy, announced on Thursday the ATP.
Djokovic, 30, currently ATP number 7, entered the top ten in March 2007.
With an elbow injury, the 12-time Grand Slam winner, the long-time world No. 1, has not played since his retirement in the Wimbledon quarter-finals in July. His return to the slopes is scheduled for the month of January.
