Dodgers beef up bullpen by signing veteran pitcher Shane Greene

The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to strengthen their pitching staff after signing veteran reliever Shane Greene to a major league contract, according to a report from The Athletic.

The Atlanta Braves released Greene last weekend after posting an 8.47 ERA over 19 games this season. However, the Dodgers hope that his performance will be more like that of the 2019 season when he had 23 saves and had a 2.30 ERA, a job that earned him a call to the All-Star Game.

The news comes a day after the Dodgers put Cole Hamels on the 60-day disabled list, the reinforcement who will miss the remainder of the season without pitching a single game due to a left shoulder injury. (https://www.septimaentrada.com)
