Domadores de Cuba beats Heroicos de Colombia and advances to WSB final
The Domadores de Cuba team beat Los Heroicos de Colombia 5-0 today in a cartel back in Havana that converted the islanders in the finals of the VII World Series of Boxing (WSB) to discuss the title against the Wolves of Astana Arlans of Kazakhstan.
The Cuban fighters, leaders of the America group of the contest and current champions of the previous edition of the Series, had lost in two previous stops against the Colombians and now they came back.

It was the two-handed fight in which Veitía was seen already recovered from the injury suffered during the fight he lost with the Uzbekistan Tigers.
But now he won by unanimous vote of the three judges.
The second victory for the Tamers came from the hand of Lázaro Álvarez, in the 60 kg category, a three-time world champion (Baku, Almaty and Doha) and an Olympic bronze, who dealt with an aggressive and brave opponent, the Colombian youth champion. Albeiro Paredes, only 20 years old.
Álvarez, with 21 wins and a single loss on his WSB record, showed the technique of a stable and confident boxer, who repeatedly sent his left straight into the Colombian’s face and successfully finished the fifth round of the duel.
In the third clash, despite his resistance, the visitor Ricardo Legarda could not overcome the barrage of blows from the confrontation with the London-2012 Olympic monarch, the Cuban Roniel Iglesias, in a 69-kilo fight in which he wore numerous straight and hook combinations.
In the fourth fight, between the three-time world champion and Olympic monarch of 81 kilograms Julio César La Cruz, of the Tamers and the debutant in the Series Jeisson Camargo, for the Heroicos, despite going into the ring with the will of a fighter, he could not with the superiority of the Cuban.
Camargo managed to recover from a first protection count, but the insistent blows of La Cruz, who exhibited his peculiar style of constant movement in the ring, did not allow him to avoid a fall that defined the fight for RSC.
Forceful and barely beginning the first assault concluded the fifth and last skirmish of the night, when the universal tan in Milan 2009, José Ángel Larduet (+91), threw on the canvas and knocked out Junior González, youth national champion of The Heroics of Colombia.
This result places the Tamers for the fourth time in a row in the finals of the World Series of Boxing, in which he accumulates a couple of crowns.
