“Escorpión” Ruiz closes an exciting boxing evening with victory

In the main fight of the boxing evening held at the Gymnasium Dos de Villa Olímpica, Honduran boxer Josec “Escorpión” Ruiz defeated Nicaraguan Johnson Téllez in a split decision.

The most controversial fight was between Jorge «Chele» Munguia from Honduras and Edwin Téllez from Nicaragua. The victory was taken by the catracho by split decision, but the Nicaraguan complained that the victory had been stolen.
