Filipino Donaire regains super rooster belt against Mexico’s Juarez

Filipino Nonito Donaire regained the World Boxing Organization (WBO) super bantamweight belt by defeating Mexican César Juárez on points in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Donaire was unanimously declared the winner by the judges (116-110, 116-110, 117-109), although he was shocked in the 10th round when he fell to the canvas.
The 33-year-old Filipino achieved his 36th victory, 23 of them by knockout, and three losses.
His 24-year-old opponent suffered the fourth defeat of his career, in which he accumulated 17 victories, 13 of them by KO.
Donaire, who has won world titles in five categories, regained the belt he had won in February 2012 and then lost on points to Cuban Guillermo Rigondeaux in April 2013. (AFP).
