Jail records show that Damon’s wife, Michelle Mangan-Damon, was also arrested.

Damon, who grew up in Orlando, was a two-time All-Star outfielder who played for seven major league teams from 1995 to 2012. He was a key player in the Boston Red Sox that conquered the World Series in 2004 and broke the historic drought of the 86-year-old franchise without a title. He was later signed by Boston’s bitter rivals the New York Yankees, whom he helped win the World Series in 2009. (GG) (ESPNDEPORTES)
