One of the news voices of Honduras and who used to give special coverage to important events at the Toncotín international airport, Melvin Fernando Paguada has died after suffering several health mishaps in recent years, until God has brought him home to the sadness and consternation of his family, the national journalistic union and his friends.
Originally from Olanchito, Yoro, he came to Tegucigalpa to train as a journalist, entering the sports press as one of the best court interviewers of the time, doing important interviews for the medium that opened him in Tegucigalpa, Radio América, of the Audiovideo system , where he remained for a couple of decades until he made the great leap to the general press at the Televicentro Corporation, which was his death until the day of his death.
A furious follower of Real España, Melvin alternated with the greats of America: Luis Edgardo «Escopeta» Vallejo, Carlos Salinas, Tomás Vindel, Ramón Rosa Rivera, José Domingo «Yuyo» Troches, Renato Álvarez, Henry Marvin Cabrera, Rusell Ramos, Saúl Tinoco Orellana, Iván Rodríguez, Santos Valentine, Greg Moraga, Lisandro Durán, Jorge Rivera, Roberto Reyes, Eduardo Flores and their countrymen Jorge Zelaya and Nery Arteaga, among others.
