LONDON, (AFP) – The English boxer Ricky Hatton, a 31-year-old boxer who was the world champion of super lightweight of the International Federation (IBF) and the International Organization (IBO), lost his license to fight this Thursday, after it was made public that used cocaine.
The Briton, nicknamed ‘The Hitman’ and facing a police investigation, was sentenced by the UK Boxing Federation for “discrediting the sport”.
Likewise, the agency understood that Hutton’s “present physical condition” “is such that it was decided to withdraw his boxing license.”
