Formula 1 will organize a festival for fans from April 13 to 15 in Shanghai in the framework of the Chinese GP, the owners of the discipline announced.
The inauguration on Friday will star two former world champions, Britain’s Jackie Stewart and Germany’s Nico Rosberg.
The event will also introduce Axel, the F1 mascot, the statement said.
Among the invited artists will be the well-known Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren.
An area will be dedicated to e-sports, with driving simulators, and the race will be broadcast on giant screens in various enclaves of the Chinese city.
