The French driver Stephane Peterhansel (Mini) won this Wednesday in the third car stage of the Dakar-2019 Rally, while the Qatari Nasser al-Attiyah (Toyota) resumed the leadership of the general classification.
Peterhansel, multi-champion in cars and motorcycles, used 3h54: 31 to complete the 798 km route (including a 331 timed special) between the Peruvian towns of San Juan de Marcona and Arequipa, followed by Al-Attiyah at 3 min 26 and in third place, at 11 min 47, came the Pole Jakub Przygonski (Mini).
