Golden State beats Lebron and CAVS again

Stephen Curry dribbled as much as he wanted and outplayed LeBron James on offense, and the Golden State Warriors went 2-0 up in the NBA Finals by defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 132-113
Oakland coach Steve Kerr returned to the bench after more than six weeks away due to health problems, on a day in which Curry recalled the magic that made him the MVP of the League two years in a row.
Again under the leadership of the current NBA Coach of the Year, the team of Curry and Kevin Durant put the Warriors within two victories of winning the championship.
Curry had his first triple-double of the postseason with 31 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, while Durant had 33 points, 13 boards and six assists to get closer to his first championship ring.
“It’s what everyone wants to enjoy, to see some of the best basketball players in the world face to face,” said Klay Thompson, another of the Warriors stars. “Steph showed off that nice maneuver, snubbed him and scored. It’s what he knows how to do ”.
Golden State remains immaculate this postseason, going 14-0, and continues to seek to become the first team to be crowned champion with an undefeated march.
In a losing cause, James was spectacular with a triple-double of 29 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds. But the star did not have enough support to deal with the Golden State arsenal, even though Kevin Love scored 27 points and Kyrie Irving added 19.
James equaled Magic Johnson with the most triple-doubles in a final series, and this was the first time in NBA history that more than one player had a triple-double in the same game of a series for the championship.
“We were able to stick to the game strategy for as long as possible,” James said. “We were more physical today than in the first game. We forced more turnovers, and with all that they clearly beat us, so we have to improve a lot ”.
Thompson put off an offensive loss in the postseason and scored 22 points, including four 3s, though he played better defensively and had seven rebounds for the Warriors, who hit 18 of 43 shooting from long range.
“We lost the ball many times in the first half. But in the second I think we normalize ourselves; We try to play it easy and defensively we just try to face his shots, ”Durant said.
The final series now changes its venue to Cleveland, where two games will be played. The team that wins four games will win the championship.
Kerr was greeted with a standing ovation on his return and greeted fans from one side of the court for the first time since the second game of the first round against Portland on April 19.
The technician suffered from constant pain problems due to complications from two back surgeries in 2015.
“He’s been around, the last two weeks especially, he’s given us recommendations and whatever he has,” Curry said of Kerr. “But having him back in the bank means a lot. We adore your presence. We love your voice. And we are a complete group when it is there. So it means a lot ”.
