Halep enters the top 4 after victory at Wimblendon

Wimblendon winner Simona Halep climbs to fourth place in the WTA standings with 5,933 points and tournament finalist Serena Williams climbs one spot to ninth behind compatriot Sloane Stephens.

The first three positions remain unchanged. The Australian Ashleigh Barty leads the classification with 6,605 points ahead of the Japanese Naomi Osaka, with 6,257 and the Czech Karolina Pliskova, third with 6055 after the dispute of the salad bowl tournament.

As for the Spanish, Garbiñe Muguruza falls one place after being eliminated in the first round of the London event and is ranked 28 ahead of Carla Suárez who occupies the 29th position who was eliminated in the second round by Serena Williams.
