The British Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), world champion for the last two seasons, assured this Thursday in Melbourne (Australia) that he is sure that Ferrari “has something up its sleeve.”
«It seems that this year things are tighter. But I think they (Ferrari) have something up their sleeve. They are closer to us than they are saying, ”said the Englishman during the press conference prior to the Australian Grand Prix.
Ferrari team leader, four-time German champion Sebastian Vettel, said: “We have made a big step forward, although we have yet to see if that step is big enough.”
“I think that Mercedes is still the favorite, but we will try to be us in the future,” he added. EFE
