The British Lewis Hamilton, does not lift his foot on the gas: the Mercedes driver, already established as Formula 1 champion in 2017, registered the best time of the day today in the free trials of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The four-time world champion clocked 1: 37.877 minutes in the second round to set a new record at the Yas Marina circuit, where he will seek to close the season with his tenth victory on Sunday.

Australian Daniel Ricciardo set the third time in his Red Bull, followed by Finns Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari) and Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes).
