The Atlanta Hawks easily beat the Milwaukee Bucks 110-88 to equal two wins per side in the final series of the NBA Eastern Conference, taking advantage of the injury departure of Greek Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Hawks’ leading scorer was Lou Williams, who finished the game with 21 points, five rebounds and seven assists.
The next best-of-seven game will be Thursday in Milwaukee.
The winner of this series will go to the NBA Grand Final against the winner of the West meeting between the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Greek Antetokounmpo had to leave the game with a knee injury midway through the third quarter.
The Bucks star limped out of the crash. The two-time NBA MVP collapsed on the court in agony after landing awkwardly when he challenged Clint Capela near the basket with Atlanta leading 62-52 in the third.
The Greek returned from the locker room but was back in the locker room shortly after. The Bucks later said Antetokounmpo had hyperextended his left knee and would not return. (AFP)
