Hondurans compete in Chile

The Honduran Olympic Committee sent tennis players Kenny Turcios and Alejandro Obando to Chile on Tuesday, where they will participate in the future tennis tournament that begins tomorrow.

In this contest, Honduran players seek to add points to attend the Pan American Sports Games to be held from July 10 to 25 in Toronto, Canada.

The athletes will spend a month training in that South American country, taking advantage of the level of play that Chileans have. The goal of Turcios and Obando is to fight with everything to win the matches that are necessary.

In past months, these athletes have been competing in Qualy tournaments held in El Salvador, Panama and Nicaragua, also supported by the Olympic body.
