The Davis Cup team from Honduras won today against its counterpart from Trinidad and Tobago its second victory in the qualifying rounds of Series B of group III of the American Zone that will be played since Monday in La Paz, Bolivia.
On Monday, on the first day, Honduras fell to the Bahamas, but on the second, played yesterday, they beat Bermuda.
The Honduran team triumphed in two of the three matches that were played today at the La Paz Tennis Club, where the tournament will be played until next Saturday.
Keny Turcios, from Honduras, beat Richard Chung 6-0 and 6-2 in the first game.
The second was for Trinidadian Luke De Caires, who defeated Ricardo Pineda 6-4 with a double, although he won the second set 7-6 (3).
The day was defined in the doubles clash, in which Turcios and Alejandro Obando won 6-2 and 6-1 over the pair made up of Chung and Akiel Duke.
