Jankovic finishes off Kvitova

The Serbian Jelena Jankovic, number 30 on the WTA, knocked out the Czech Petra Kvitova, second seeded in the tournament, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4, in two hours today in the third round of Wimbledon.
The double champion at the All England Club (2011 and 2014) dominated the first set but later succumbed to Jankovic, who will face Poland’s Agnieszka Radwanska in the round of 16, a round she has never passed in London.
The fall of the second seed opens the women’s singles draw a little more, in which only four of the top ten favorites survive, including the American Serena Williams, number one in the world, who will face her sister Venus in her next match. EFE
