Jeremy Lin signs with the Warriors

The point guard Jeremy Lin has closed an agreement to join the discipline of the Golden State Warriors, as reported by journalist Shams Charania. The agreement will be formalized upon receipt of a letter of authorization from the China Basketball Association.

However, the fate of the veteran will not be in the NBA but in the Development League. Journalist Marc J. Spears has announced that Lin will play in the ranks of the Santa Cruz Warriors, a team affiliated with the G-League.

It would be precisely in Golden State where the player would start his professional career in the NBA, playing a total of 29 games during the 2010-11 season. Later he would star in a brief explosion in New York, which would open the doors of regularity for him during the following years.

Lin has spent the last few days training with the Ignite G-League team waiting for a call from a franchise. This has finally arrived although he will still have to fight for minutes in the first team, as he will be subject to an Exhibit 10 contract.

The 32-year-old Lin’s last NBA experience would lead to the 2019 title as a component of the Raptors roster, albeit contributing a testimonial 3.4 minutes per game.
