The Dodgers announced they have placed right-hander Joe Kelly on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to Aug. 9, due to a sore pitching shoulder.
To replace Kelly on the active roster, Los Angeles has activated left-hander Adam Kolarek.
Kolarek returns to the Dodgers’ big team after being sent to the team’s alternate workouts Thursday. In four appearances in 2020, the reliever is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA (3.1 innings pitched).
Kelly has thrown 6.1 zeros in the 2020 season, allowing five hits and five walks. He has struck out five batters. (GG) (TAKEN FROM MLB.COM)
