In an important strategic move, the powerful and controversial American manager Al Haymon has just signed one of the most media fighters of the moment. Not one of the best sportingly speaking, but one that is capable of attracting 15,000 or 20,000 spectators to any of his fights. We refer to Julio César Chávez Jr. (48-1-1, 32 KO). Little by little, Haymon is eating professional terrain from the two great promoters, Bob Arum, owner of Top Rank and Óscar de la Hoya, creator of Golden Boy Promotions, and without the “china” in his shoe that the presence of his former friend Dan Schaefer.
