Kicker magazine has knocked Erling Haaland out of the Bundesliga season’s starting eleven, opting for André Silva and Robert Lewandowski in a two-striker system.
The publication notes that the decisions for some of the positions were difficult and that precisely one of the most complicated issues was the decision to include or exclude Haaland.
«27 goals and he stays out? Yes, because Silva has better statistics (in goals, assists, score for each matchday and presence in the team of the matchday) and because we did not want to create an excessively offensive team, ”says the magazine.
The fact that Lewandowski was unshakable, with his 41-goal record breaking Gerd Müller’s historic mark, is something “Kicker” took for granted and did not even bother to point out.
«Kicker proposes a scheme with three defenders, four midfielders, a playmaker and two forwards.
As goalkeeper he selected Manuel Neuer despite admitting that the competition was tough with Stefan Ortega, from Arminia Bielefeld.
The three defenders are Mathias Ginter from Borussia Mönchengladbach, Willy Orban from RB Leipzig, and Marvin Friedrich from Union Berlin.
In the middle of the field appears in the center the double pivot of Bayern, Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, and by the bands Angeliño, of Leipzig, and Silas Wamangituka, of Stuttgar.
At the midfielder is Thomas Müller and in front Lewandowski and André Silva. EFE (HN)
