Lewis Hamilton to close a triumphant year in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the nineteenth of the Formula One World Championship, which takes place this weekend at the Yas Marina circuit, will close a triumphant year for the Englishman Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) – who won his third title – and who will want soon forget the Spanish Fernando Alonso, in the worst season in the history of McLaren.
Hamilton, 30, who at the United States Grand Prix, held in Austin (Texas) just a month ago, celebrated his tenth victory of the course, mathematically closed his third F1 title that day, after those achieved the year past, also with Mercedes, and in 2008, aboard a McLaren.
Since then, his German teammate Nico Rosberg has won in Mexico and Sao Paulo (Brazil), where he signed his fifth victory of the year and made sure to revalidate the 2014 runner-up, in the second triumphant year of Mercedes, repeater of the constructors’ title (leads with 660 points, 259 more than Ferrari), which it solved in Russia.
The quadruple German world champion Sebastian Vettel, leader of Red Bull’s glory days and who now captains the ‘Scuderia’ will finish third this World Cup. The only one who has answered, with three victories, the great dominance of the “silver arrows”, ‘Seb’ has 266 points, 31 less than Rosberg and 97 from Hamilton, so the only thing that is at stake in Yas Marina is the fourth place final.
A place that will be played -in a set not without morbid, due to the various mishaps carried out between both compatriots- the Finns Valtteri Bottas (Williams) and Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari). With a provisional advantage of one point (136-135) in favor of the first.
