German winger Lukas Klostermann will be absent for Saturday’s game against Portugal due to a muscle injury in his right thigh that kept him out of training this Thursday.
The German Football Federation (DFB) reported that Klostermann had suffered the injury on Wednesday, in training for players who had not been on the field for Tuesday’s game against France.
Jonas Hoffmann, who trained alone after suffering a knee problem, and Serge Gnabry were also missing from today’s session with the group.
The case of Gnabry, according to the DFB, is due to a “regulation of effort”, decided by the doctors.
Gnabry, who started the game against France, worked out in the gym. EFE. (JL).
