Manchester City confirmed that two more players from its squad, reserve goalkeeper Scott Carson and midfielder Cole Palmer, as well as a member of the entity have tested positive for coronavirus.
This club, which since last Christmas day has seen the number of its members suffering from covid-19 raised to eight, must be quarantined due to the outbreak.
“Manchester City can confirm that Scott Carson, Cole Palmer and a member of staff test positive for COVID-19,” City confirmed in a statement.
In the note, he added that “everyone will now have a period of isolation in accordance with the quarantine protocol of the Premier League and the Government of the United Kingdom.”
The coronavirus outbreak unleashed in the club has already forced the commitment with Everton set for December 28 to be delayed and left them with six casualties in their meeting at Stamford Bridge last weekend. EFE (HN).
