The Spanish Marc Márquez, current MotoGP champion and absent from the competition since he suffered an accident in the first race of this season, will remain off the circuits for “two to three months” more, announced his Honda team, which compromises all your campaign.

«The objective of both Márquez and the Repsol Honda team is to return to competition when the arm is fully recovered. It is estimated that he will need two to three months before he can get back on his bike, ”Honda said in a statement.

The season will end in principle on November 22. The six-time world champion, 27, could therefore be out for all or most of the season.

After four races, Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha-SRT) leads the premier class of motorcycling, 11 points ahead of Italian Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati).
