Marc Márquez wins the Argentine Grand Prix in MotoGP

The world champion Marc Márquez, from the Honda team, easily won the Argentine Grand Prix and signed the 45th victory of his career in MotoGP.

After starting from pole position, the Spanish rider and five-time champion crossed the finish line 10 seconds ahead of Italians Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), second placed, and Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati), third.

After the victory in the second of 19 races that complete the championship, Márquez leads the general classification, escorted by his great rival, Dovizioso.

In contention for second place on the podium, the two Italians beat each other a dozen times.

Finally it was Rossi, 40, who had the last word on the Ducati rider, beating him on the last lap on his Yamaha to take the second step of the podium.

The fight for fourth place was also lively: Australian Jack Miller (Pramac-Ducati) passed in front of Suzuki’s Spaniard Alex Rins, who qualified fifth, and Italian Danilo Petrucci, Dovizioso’s Ducati teammate, was sixth. .
