The McLaren spokesman confirmed that his team members who will travel to Australia will not make a stopover in China (Hong Kong included) and will opt for flights that stop in the Middle East.

McLaren is the first Formula 1 team to announce such relevant measures.

The F1 calendar includes a Grand Prix in the Far East, on April 5 in Vietnam. That Grand Prix, the first in that country, will be played in principle according to the planned plans, the organizers announced on Tuesday. AFP
