Medvedev falls in the first round in Rotterdam

Russian Daniil Medvedev, world number 5 and first seed, was eliminated in the first round of the Rotterdam tournament, where Pablo Carreño beat Roberto Bautista in the Spanish duel in the second round.

Medvedev crashed in his start in the Dutch tournament against Canadian Vasek Pospisil (104th), who won 6-4, 6-3.
