MLB veterans make US roster for Americas pre-Olympic

The pre-Olympic of the Americas is just around the corner and the United States finally revealed its roster for the event that will give the penultimate ticket to the Tokyo Olympics, a list that highlights the presence of several MLB veterans.

In the list of 28 players, the presence of Matt Kemp, Todd Frazier, Matt Wieters and David Robertson stands out, all elected to the All-Star Game on occasion.

That list will have to be shortened to 26 names after May 30.

Major League Baseball decided that no player on their 40 rosters can be eligible for qualifying events, so the invitation was only for those players who are not active on a roster or on the disabled list.
