Muguruza continues to lead the world ranking of women’s tennis

The Spanish Garbiñe Muguruza, of Venezuelan origin and who won the Wimbledon Grand Slam this year, continues to lead the world ranking of women’s tennis for the fourth consecutive week.

Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maía continues to be the best-placed Latin American player in position 59, leaving Puerto Rican Monica Puig, Olympic champion of Rio-2016, in place 68, according to the ranking released this Monday by the WTA.
