Andy Murray, defending champion, was the first to beat the Spanish Roberto Bautista Agut, 6-4 and 6-4 in 94 minutes, but before that he had got rid of the Czech Lukas Rosol, 4-6, 6-3 and 6 -two.
Kohlschreiber, for his part, began the day with a victory against the Austrian Belgian Goffin, by 2-6, 6-3 and 6-4, and then against the Austrian Gerald Melzer, by 2-6, 6-1 and 6-4 to achieve the final.
Murray, plays this tournament two weeks after getting married and pursues in Munich the 32nd title of his career and the first on clay.
Kohlschreiber has met Murray three times and has lost to the Scot the last two at Roland Garros last year and Indian Wells this year. EFE.
