Murray returns to the courts with an exhibition match against Federer

Britain’s Andy Murray will play a charity exhibition match in Glasgow on Tuesday against Swiss Roger Federer, in what will be his comeback after just over four months of being away from the courts due to his hip injury.

Murray, 30, played his last match on July 12, against American Sam Querrey in the Wimbledon quarterfinals. Later he was forced to withdraw from the US Open. Since then it has dropped to 16th place in the world.

In addition to the individual match against Federer, Andy will play another together with his brother Jamie and against his compatriot Tim Henman and Iranian Mansour Bahrami.
